ViscoBalance heel cushions help restore balance to the body by comfortably and gently cushioning the heel in the shoe and elongating the shorter leg by three, five or ten millimeters. The slight elongation of the leg also helps alleviate pain in the Achilles tendon. This is because as soon as the strain on the hindfoot is reduced, the tendon insertion is also relieved and irritation can heal more effectively.
